As summer is around the corner, the “Time ToBe Blooming: A Spring for Sustainable Wellbeing” webinar series came to a close on 29 May, with an enthralling session on local approaches to sustainable wellbeing around the globe. The session, “A leap to the World” counted with a great panel formed by ToBe and ToBe friend researchers, focusing on the case studies part of the project.

The webinar kickstarted with an intervention from Milena Buchs, from University of Leeds, who contextualised the case studies and presented some preliminary insights from those carried out in the Global North. Michel Campos, from Habilitar Colectivo, followed, introducing the communities in Ecuador involved in ToBe’s case studies in the country. Finally, researchers Marlien Herselman and Nina Rilla, from CSIR and VTT respectively, presented the recently concluded field trip to South Africa in which two case studies present research opportunities for the project.
